Kids just _love_ phone cameras dont they? They _love_ pressing that button over and over again, and that enjoyable, satisfying shutter sound... *Ka-Chink*!
They love experimenting, taking pictures with their faces barely visible, the camera rotated in every direction, or just of nothing meaningful at all.
Some of them are cute too. Some could be considered post-modern art, but most of them just take up a tonne of phone storage.
Its even worse if you have iCloud with synchronisation - in no time at all youll get that familiar notification from iCloud suggesting with a little *Cha-Ching*,
you can increase your storage with a paid plan!

So here you are, camera roll bursting with photos of the carpet, blurry faces, and row after row of Black on Black, and so you start the task of deleting them...
Selecting each one, checking if you should keep it - *click*, view, "nope!", confirmation popup, "Yes!", next, rinse, repeat....
Its enough to drive you crazy, especially when you have thousands of pictures in your library.
If only there was an easier way...
"Only precious memories" solves this problem by using a machine learning algorithm to analyse and filter all of these photos, and delete wasteful ones, all in one fell swoop.

What does it detect?
- Dark photos or poor visibility
- ScreenShots of Apps and Phone
- Over-exposed photos with too much light/glare.
- Photos with unfocused faces, partial faces or only maybe just zoomed in on a nostril!
- Out of focus, noisy or blurry photos
- Meaningless content

What if I dont have kids?
The app has been trained on countless crappy photos made by my own kids, and my family & friends, but it could still be useful if you:
- Are learning how to use the camera
- Like to use burst mode
- Like to take millions of blurry selfies when youre "out on the town"

Can I contribute?
The machine learning algorithm performs better with more data, and will improve with more bad photos to train it with. At this time we are not collecting any data, however,
if you can give us feedback on the types of photos that did not get detected, and send us through an example, you could help train the algorithm to have an even _keener_ eye.
Just be sure to let us know why you think its a bad photo, and we can add it to the training data.
